Our payroll runs weekly and is processed every Monday. Timesheets must be submitted by 12:00pm on a Monday and staff are paid a week in hand.

Time Sheets

At the end of each week of an assignment (or at the end of the Assignment where it is for a period of one week or less or is completed before the end of a week) you will be required to submit a completed timesheet indicating the number of hours worked and get it signed by an authorised representative of the client. Failure to submit a time sheet for hours worked may delay payment for those hours.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the purposes of the Working Time Regulations, the Temporary Worker's working time shall only consist of those periods during which he/she is carrying out his activities or duties for the Client as part of the Assignment. Time spent travelling to the Client's premises; lunch breaks and other rest breaks shall not count as part of the Temporary worker's working time for these purposes.

Lobster Recruitment Ltd undertake to pay all hours worked regardless if we have been paid by our client in respect of that work.

How do I complete my timesheet?

Who needs a copy of my timesheet?

All timesheets taken from the Lobster office or Lobster vehicle are designed to be a carbon copy for your convenience. The original copy (white) needs to be handed in to us in order to process payroll. The yellow copy is for the client and the pink copy is for you to keep.

When do I submit my timesheet?

Timesheets must reach our office by 12:00pm every Monday.

How do I submit my timesheet?

We accept timesheets via picture message, email, fax or post. You can even pop into the office and drop it by hand. Please ensure that if you are sending us a digital copy, it needs to be a clear photograph, so that all the information can be processed accurately.

Where can I get some more timesheets?

Timesheets are available at our main office or located in our Lobster vehicles (if accessible). Please note: If you are unable to get a timesheet, please click the link below for a print version.
I do not have a timesheet.

If you do not have a timesheet, we always ask that you get signed confirmation of your shift by an authorised member of staff.

I can't submit my timesheet before the deadline.

We always ask that you try and get your timesheet to us before the deadline. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances and if you are unable to submit your timesheet, please do so at the first available opportunity and our payroll department will process it as soon as possible.
My dog ate my timesheet.
