We are a family run business that was established in 2006. Over the last 10+ years, we have deep-rooted ourselves as one of the leading suppliers of both temporary and permanent staff in a range of sectors. These include; The Automotive, Care, Hospitality, Commercial and Industrial Sectors. 

Since opening we have grown from strength to strength and have successfully become a leading supplier to many small companies, as well as to large blue chip organisations. We put this down to our impeccable service that is second to none.

Company Director

Chris Barnett

Company Director and Co-founder, Chris started Lobster Recruitment back in 2006. He has a wealth of experience and has always been focused on building strong relationships with candidates and clients.

He has a passion for recruitment and supplying businesses with the right staff. Offering a bespoke service tailored to each business, Chris understands that recruitment is not just a 'one size fits all' process. He always thinks outside of the box to solve problems and exceed client expectations.

Payroll Manager

Kath Hardy

Kath joined #TeamLobster in 2011 as an Administrator and is now the company Payroll Manager. She has the very demanding task of keeping all of the staff happy and so has a very keen eye for detail.

Whatever gets thrown at her, Kath always manages to get the job done.

Business Development Manager

Charley Thorne

Charley joined #TeamLobster in 2012 as a Junior Consultant and is now the Business Development Manager for the company.

After completing her degree in Business Management with Human Resource Management she returned to Lobster full-time and is now utilising her skills to drive the business forward. Charley is hardworking and dedicated to the continued growth and success of Lobster Recruitment.


Liz Wyatt

Liz started as a Junior Consultant in 2014 and since joining the business has grown from strength to strength. Liz handles everything from recruitment and selection to training for care staff.

She oversees the complete application processes of all staff members, so has to be extremely organised.

Temporary Healthcare Consultant

Rachel Musk

Rachel works as a Temporary Healthcare Consultant for #TeamLobster.

It is her responsibility to introduce Lobster Recruitment to new and potential clients whilst maintaining and building strong relationships along the way. Rachel is bubbly, willing to learn and keen to shout about our brilliant services from the rooftops!

Recruitment Resourcer

Peter Wood

Peter joined #TeamLobster in early 2017 as a Recruitment Resourcer and is working very closely with our permanent recruitment team to develop and grow the permanent recruitment division.

Peter has become an invaluable member of #TeamLobster in a short space of time. His keen eye for detail means he is able to identify and attract the highest standard of candidates possible whilst working closely with our clients to ensure that every requirement for each role is met. Peter’s future in recruitment is bright, and it is definitely orange

Lobster Carbon Footprint

We pride ourselves on our continued commitment to saving the environment. We understand the importance of our Carbon Footprint and recognise that by doing our little bit for the planet, we can make a difference.

All of our company cars are eco-friendly. The Nissan Leaf is 100% electric and all our other vehicles are hybrids.

In our offices, we promote a paperless environment and in order to save as many trees as we can... we’ve gone (almost) completely digital!
